Can’t say I’ve seen it happen recently unless it’s Easter or Christmas.

Joking aren't you? Clubs can't play Sunday - Tuesday anymore, they're playing 4pm Sunday, wouldn't be surprised if it's moved!

So, it’s absolutely nothing to do with us but Rochdale have to move their game to the Sunday. As stated it’s perfectly reasonable for them to ask us to move Tuesday’s scheduled game to the Wednesday. I’m sure we’ll agree, but is it really fair on us that we now go into the subsequent Fleetwood game with a day’s less rest than we should have? Fleetwood are scheduled to play on the Tuesday themselves, thankfully but that still gives them an extra recovery day. Given that the senior players never train on the day after a game, and we’ll travel up on the Friday, that’ll give us a brief morning session on that Friday ahead of a massive game. Not ideal is it?

I’ve always wondered why managers at our level never make more of an issue of changes like this? I know we all roll our eyes when it’s Arsene Wenger moaning about it on TV, but at least at the top level they have the squad depth to make changes if any players are particularly susceptible to picking up strains when playing two games in 48hrs. Down in the EFL most don’t have that luxury.

Think we need to push back to be honest.

We should have it in March and hopefully they will be exhausted.

Did you know that Rochdale and Las Vegas are the only towns in the world where you can pay for sex with chips?
