Winkie speaks to the BBC about it being a horrible year, £3m personal loss, and club not yet investment ready.

It says the club made a loss which is slightly different to personal loss

I read it differently - Winkelman has led the Dons since they were founded in 2004 and says the club has lost him £3m in the past year.

If the club didn't make a loss then the owners would have that money to spend on themselves if they wanted. He is the owner so he has lost £3m.

I see what you mean about the wording but any loss to MKDons would be absorbed into the overall business debt not paid for by the owner. The value of MKDons maybe £3 million less which could be regarded as a personal loss but surely only applies as and when it is sold.

He owns inter MK too - the loss ultimately belongs to him.

But they are limited companies so he isn't personally liable for losses

One good thing is that he has publicly said he cant go for any outside investment yet. It means that it is on his radar, but he doesn't feel the club is completed yet. Hopefully, this will settle people down as we are unable to get investment if he feels the project isn't ready.

I know I was one that moaned, but at least he acknowledged it. So I will back down on that one!
