I've remembered some things that I do usually watch during the festive season. Though they aren't really Christmassy in any way...

As a family, we tended to watch the old Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes films, and a few of the Will Hay comedies (especially Oh Mr Porter and Ask a Policeman) during the Winter months.

Nowadays, I've got them on DVD, and can watch them any time, but I still tend to associate them with this time of year. I haven't got round to them yet, but I think I'll start soon while I've remembered them.

Yeah. I especially love the ones with Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt in as well - as they all work really well together! But I also enjoy a number of his other films, like when he's a bumbling, inept school teacher (though, in real life, he was an astronomer and a trained pilot). :)

Every Xmas Day morning, around 10am, i pour a large whisky and watch the highlights of the MK Dons vs Manchester United match.

Once finished, I then start preparing the Xmas lunch.
