On the plus side, we managed to get through the entire forum outage without a change of Chancellor or Home Secretary.

Been a bit quiet since the forum crashed. Not much going on. I've always wondered how much racism £10m would get you. Now I know.

With a bunch of violent misogyny (against two women don't forget) thrown in for free.

Not exactly free. He's paid another £5m for that, allegedly I hasten to add.

FFS. He said 'sorry' didn't he? Let's move on....
......to the NHS waiting lists (I was fortunate enough to book an online appointment with my GP on April 8th three weeks ago AND I can stay registered with my dentist if I pay the private fees instead of being 'struck off' if I didn't), the potholes plaguing the place, the graffiti now encroaching my estate, the food bank I do some voluntary work for.....
I don't know why so many people are complaining about things.

We were shopping at the weekend in a major supermarket. The queue we were in wasn't moving, and the young couple at the checkout looked shamefaced and embarrassed. Their card had been refused and they had no way of paying for their weekly shopping.

That's modern Britain under The Conservatives right there.

More Tories have spoken up about the England kit that they have about the £10m donation from a racist. They're totally fucked, and I genuinely can't wait to see the back of every last fucking one of them. The current home secretary spent £165,000 on a flight to Rwanda to sign the deportation deal. £165,000! An utterly despicable party full of racists. I hate them.

When Labour finally won in 1997, I was up all night celebrating. This time around, I think it'll be more of a sigh of relief and a "thank fuck they've finally gone". I have no illusions that Labour will make significant change anytime soon - too much is broken and we don't have a pot to piss in. But just to see the back of that absolute shower will make my life better.
