Indeed!

I am thinking of restricting you all to reading a maximum of 10 TCR posts per day, 20 posts if you a premium member. What can possibly go wrong?

Yes, I can no longer access the MK Dons site. I'm trying youtube + Tik Tok instead.

And suddenly the world looks like a slightly nicer place.

What does “data scraping and system manipulation’ even mean?

I think he’s out the price up for the verified service too, he’s just trying to earn more money.

tweaked to reflect that he's yet to make any money from it.

It's a lost cause - both Twitter & Musk

I actually don’t think this was a planned change, I think its enforced. Musk would have thrived off of the uproar/publicity in the lead up to this change. He’d have announced it weeks ago.

Either a disgruntled current or former employee is running riot or they’ve not paid their server hosting invoices, which is highly plausible.

Even if the limit is removed, Musk has done far too much damage already and any advertisers that were left, will not spend a single penny on the site anymore. Any ounce of confidence they had left has just evaporated.

Interesting, Meta assigned 900 engineers to a Twitter equivalent project as soon as Musk bought Twitter. With BlueSky also close to launching, Twitter will have 2 direct competitors and the site will be gone before the year is out.

It's a euphemism for bizarre sexual practices - that I don't want to know about.

Zuckerberg launches “Threads” tomorrow July 6th, his version of Twitter.

I just wonder what impact this will have on Twitter, it seems to be struggling since Elon Musk starting fiddling with it

I've just joined. Almost impossible to tell that you're not on Twitter. The only difference I can detect is the lack of promoted posts, which has become endemic on Twitter.
