...I say, well, firstly, I'm not happy about foodbanks as a country as rich as the UK shouldn't need them. Secondly, of course there are scoundrels, thieves, scumbags and bastards, although your posts imply a relatively high number which you are simply unable to prove... but, thirdly, and far more importantly (for me, at least, despite how little my view really matters) is that if the number of freeloaders at foodbanks is 1%, 10% or 90 % doesn't matter to me. As long as the people that really need food have access to it, I can put up with scumbags taking what they don't deserve.
By the way, on your way out of your local supermarket, take a look in the trolleys where they collect for the foodbanks. Maybe y'all contribute items, in which case fair play to you. But, overall, it's pretty grim fair. Generic pasta and porridge and tins of legumes. Stuff that will keep you alive but not exciting. I can't see many people seeing that as desirable stuff to undeservedly claim.
