So Musk, the richest man in the world, has overpaid for Twitter and has allegedly sacked half the workforce, including many moderation employees. An advocate of free speech, his actions will result in more hate and abuse, is he the new unacceptable face of capitalism? I think so.

He bought a business whose last reported results was a $320m operating loss.

I think that gives you the answer.

So he shouldn't have bought it. Since he has bought Twitter advertisers have left in droves, not liking his brand and views. So he makes the workforce pay, which will result in more hate speech on twitter.

How can someone be simultaneously the world's richest person and the world's biggest arse?

And don't forget the "pedo guy" tweet, aimed at the British diver who assembled the team of cave divers that rescued the Thai kids stuck in a cave... he may have won the subsequent defamation case but, with zero evidence, he posted that comment to his 30m Twitter followers.

He's a weird guy.

Seems like a natural fit to me. Billionaires and arseholes two sides of the same smelly coin.

I have only achieved one half of that equation.

It's Pete's train set, and you should all feel honoured to be granted the privilege of paying to watch him play with it.
