What a shock. Obviously been in loads of great things over the years, but my absolute favorite was Tutti Frutti. He was fantastic in that. Obviously Mason Boyne was his greatest creation.

This one really saddened me. I grew up with the Harry Potter books and films and I really wanted a friend as supportive and kind as Hagrid. Robbie portrayed him brilliantly and he’ll be very sadly missed. This quote of his from the 20th anniversary special really gets to me now.

I had a Robbie Coltrane tribute night last night, watching him as:

Davey the insane Dial-a-Bus driver in Still Game
Dr. Samuel Johnson in Blackadder
The head of DI5 in The Bullshitters by the Comic Strip

Really entertaining evening and underlined how versatile a performer he was. And that's without taking things like Harry Potter and Cracker into account.

If I’d had a daughter I’d have called her Orangina…
