Yes there's no guarantee but I thought 's*d it I'll give it a go'. Apparently toads also might use them even if hogs don't and they are 'good for the garden' too in terms of eating slugs etc. I read that hogs are still in hibernation until end of month(ish) so I'll be putting it out in 3 weeks.
