It didn't rain as I was mowing what is left of the lawn this afternoon.
The Bottle of Red has gone down nicely with the pizza this eve.
AFC lost 3-1

Beautiful, sunny day in the Old Farm - pretty much cloudless all day - managed to get lots of garden tidy up stuff and a bit of car washing done - outstanding!

I've pinched a glass of Mrs OFD's Pinot Grigio - we celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday - I've listened to Sound of the 80s with Gary Davies tonight, and I'm currently scoffing a fruit scone from Frosts' bakery which I picked up this morning, freshly baked

AFC lost 3-1, and only have two points more than we do, and they've played a game more than we have

Driving home from feeding our horses, the moon was bigger than I've ever seen it. looking in the rear view mirror, the sky was on fire. Wonderful.

Been out for dinner with friends. Mildly drunk and feeling very chilled. Every day I wake up is a bonus. Life could be a lot worse.

Do tell, where is Frost's Bakery. I've not had any decent bread since the bakers in Queensway closed.

I suspect he means the bakery in Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands?

The Heelands bakery is pretty good IMHO if you visit early; it sells out quickly.
(And speaking of Heelands did I ever mention.... ;) )
I have to say that the Sainsburys 'taste the difference' (yawn  ) baguette with the seeds on it - not the ordinary one - is very nice. Again, it sells out fast and they only seem to do one batch a day.
