Yes died peacefully in his sleep according to a report I read. I think it said of pneumonia. Very sad; he was only 67.
I've been playing Iron Horse/Born to lose very loudly.

Died yesterday. Which means that all original members of Motorhead are gone. Never been what you'd call a fan, found Lemmy's Hitler infatuation a tad disturbing, but old Eddie was the coolest member of the heavy metal bad it was okay to like when I was a punk. |

Agreed - I made it to front at the Birmingham Odeon in 82 on the Iron Fist tour - great gig but how I got out of there in one piece with my hearing still intact remains a mystery Having been brought up on the more prog wing of rock Motorhead felt like the heaviest you could go before getting out of your comfort zone Rest in peace Mr Clarke |
