Stop hanging around with Sandy. He's weird.

Hanging around with Sandy and going cycling is the best thing I ever did. Made me realise how much money and time I was wasting on football.

You think hanging around with Sandy is better than hammering yernited 4-0! You're weird. It's rubbing off. You've caught it from Sandy. Weirdness.

Well, I'm fitter than I've ever been, I've lost two stone in weight and I've done things I never thought I was capable of (I'm riding from MK to Brussels next month, for example). So yeah, it does put watching a football team beating the reserves of another football team in the shade somewhat.

Football to me now is basically just a soap opera for men: easy entertainment but nothing to take seriously.

Have you taken a subscription to Trains Weekly?

No, only because my dad regularly buys Rail magazine (this is actually true!)

When Chris Froome does a particularly good pedal, do you stand, arms akimbo, with your top off?

I'm not a huge fan of Froome. Although if I was at the Tour, on the piss and Tom Dumoulin was winning, then yes, i probably would. Although that isn't exactly unusual for cycling.

Don't need 'em. I've got bollocks the size of grapefruit anyway.
