We need to see what a reformed Conservative Party looks and performs like before we can make a meaningful choice who to vote for.

Let's not forget that Johnson wasn't betrayed by Sunak, he was removed from power due to his handling of a sexual abuse allegation.

So you are saying a man lost his job because of what some other man did. Is that fair ?

So logically if every employer lost his job because of a misdeed or mistake by one of his employees there would be no employers left to provide jobs for anyone.

Johnson is a liar (proven, even before he entered politics) and a chancer. He has a certain charisma, driven out of his self-created "boyish oaf" persona. But he's not got the moral centre, nor the attention to detail to succeed long term in any role. His downfall was as self-inflicted as it was inevitable.

I'm saying that a man lost his job because of his woeful mishandling of an accusation of sexual assault by another man on another man. Don't know about you, but if a colleague of mine sexually assaulted someone I wouldn't touch them, no pun intended, with a barge pole.

An allegation of sexual assault against an MP would have normally resulted in suspension and an investigation under any other prime minister, under Johnson, assailants sometimes ended up being promoted, as happened with Pincher by name Pincher by nature. His record of dismissing sexual assault is second to none. In fact his response to funding for investigating historic child sexual abuse when he first took office was to say that it would be money “spaffed up the wall”. Throughout his time in Downing Street, allegations of sexual harassment and assault persisted against Conservative MPs. Two unnamed MPs were arrested for rape, one was jailed for sexual assault, another suspended over claims of sexual harassment, and yet another being forced to resign after being caught watching porn in the Commons.

He was the head of government. The managing director. The supposed buck stopped with him. His denial that he was unaware of any previous allegations against Pincher was a blatant lie. The last of an extremely long list of blatant lies. Some of which were uttered in the house. But hey, let's have the Ladybit back. What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah. Actually.... can we have Truss back?

Can we get Lizz Truss in as head coach?

What about Kwasi Kwarteng as sporting director?

Jeremy Hunt as whatever Andy Gibb is.

And Roman Abramovic as owner. There you go, I just fixed all our problems, it really is that simple.

Not Liz Truss, she’d just keep saying she delivered on the energy costs, when asked about team selection
