Basically, to cut a long and extremely boring, story short, they've always played there, or in the environs, since they were formed.

Their gate is well under 1000, and the ever popular SFA would really love them to fuck right off. So for that reason alone, I quite like 'em.

The talk at the moment is to move international matches to Celtic park, and either redeveloping, or more likely demolishing Hampden. And say what you like about Mordor and the absolute wankers that call it home, it certainly is a great stadium

As an apprentice, back in the gloomy 70's, one of the guys I used to work with invented something which he called a 'girder'. Which was basically vodka and Irn Brew.

Christ, I hope Filthy isn't a fan of Irn Bru, or we'll never hear the end of it!

A G Barr chairman out now!!!

Thankfully I didn't join the forum until after Lucozade stopped selling their 'Melonade' limited edition. That shit was liquid cocaine.

I don't know why I've never even contemplated that combination before.

I don't know why I've never even contemplated that combination before.

When I was in my second or third year of my apprenticeship, which would have been late '79, I worked with another guy who's lunch box contained two cans of 'heavy'. Nothing else. Just two tins of beer.

Times were different back then.

My first apprentice training course (at Bletchley Park as it happens), we all rock up aged 16 and one of our cohort opens his suitcase to show it contained 2 T shirts and 1 bottle of vodka. And nothing else. As you say, different times.

When we first moved down here in '87 it was still quite common to go to the pub at lunchtime.
