I can see four words beginning with Latin prefixes based on numbers - Uniform, Bicycle, Triangle, and Quadrant. But knowing you, that's probably a red herring as it seems too obvious.

There's also 5 obvious sports teams - Royals (Kansas City, baseball), Kings (Sacremento, basketball), Indians (Cleveland, baseball), Capitals (Washington, ice hockey), and Flame (Calgary, ice hockey). Also knowing you, I'd guess that that's probably a category, but not sure which of those are the right ones (or if there's any extra that I've missed)

I don't know if to take the first part as a compliment or not as it is a group, and I thought I'd managed to sneak it in without making it too easy. :lol:

You're right about the sporting names, and it is 4 out of those 5. But you haven't yet said the one sport that covers all 4 so I'll leave that group until you've spotted it.


Going to be really abstract, but as I know you like words including numbers, have you done a real sneaky and gone for:
Extension, Spider, City, and Rest

No, that's not a group or connection.
TBH, I'm not 100% sure what the connection of that would be. But I do love a hidden word one though so it's always worth a guess. :lol:


They're all numbers. Ten is 10 obviously. Pi is 3.14....., i is the square root of minus one, and e is Euler's number which is 2.718....
As I said, a bit abstract :lol:

BristolDon has found one group:

And was very close on another:

The correct four are in that list of 5, but the correct Sport isn't as they aren't US teams. There's a big clue with one of them.

The other two groups haven't yet been spotted.


I've been mulling over this for a while and I believe they are Indian Premier League cricket teams, they seem over the top enough and very American but not American. Not sure if Indians is a red herring or if that actually makes more sense

I was thinking this one could go either way. I was pleased with the connections, but I thought one or two of the clues might be too much of a giveaway. I guess they weren't. :)

Not sure about the rest of the class but I need a clue!
