That just leaves: Spoil, Bumble, Fluff, Blow.
They all seem to be synonyms for messing something up.

New wall...

Disobey. Big. Sappy. Field.
Cut. Head. Swails. Soft.
Sweeper. Kind. Pity. Strone.
Shaft. Brie. Encrypt. Whole.

EDIT:

The answers were:

Mine... - Field, Head, Strone, Shaft (Sweeper red herring)
...Hearted - Big, Soft, Kind, Whole.
Add letter for short synonyms - Sappy, Cut, Pity, Brie (Snappy, Curt, Pithy, Brief)
Hidden words meaning crying - Disobey, Swails, Sweeper, Encrypt.
