I had The Departed in my initial list, but it went past 20 and it was one of the films that I opted to cut. I like it a lot because of the cast, and it's a clever, tense plot. So it probably should have made it. But there's a lot more action, violence, strong language than in most of the films that I love so I guess that's why I opted to drop it in favour of some of the others. But it's a great film.

Just thoroughly enjoyed re-watching Planes, Trains & Automobiles. That was another favourite that was unlucky to just miss the cut when the list had to be reduced to 20.
