The early Christmas tree people always seem to take everything down early.

I have a grand total of one Christmas decoration. His name is Simon. He is a little tinselly snowman I purloined from a work Christmas party a few years ago. I get him out of his cupboard and put him in a window at an apposite time of year. I think the night the Ashes starts is about right this year.

Yeah. I DO like this time of the year (and I make no apology for saying "It is important to think about What Christmas really means" - and I don't say that in a 'preachy way'; I'm spiritual rather than 'religious') but I/we don't go crazy with all the decorations etc.
No criticism of those who do 'like to put on a show'. It's just my way.

Went up the high street tonight, just as we scored our fourth, and extremely happy to say that Stony looked amazing with the lights on. Very festive indeed.

Was going to say something about some Jesus bashers banging on about 'the real meaning of Christmas', but as it's their boy's birthday, I cut them a bit of slack.

And just to add. They were giving cake and mulled wine away. God bless'em.

It's not his birthday. :)

Whamagedden starts tomorrow.

For the uninitiated, the rules. You have to go straight through December, up until midnight on Christmas Eve, without hearing 'Last Christmas'.
