Supermarket petrol stations have their own tanker fleets and drivers so if a location runs out due to panic buying it is soon replenished.

From personal experience, I think that it's far worse today than it was last weekend.

I've really struggled to find any today. We filled our car last night at Tesco in Wolverton. Just been there now, empty. I've been to Bracknell today. None down there either. Then into West London this afternoon. Likewise, nothing.

Ironically I've quite literally just filled up a an independent filling station less than a mile from our house. Albeit at £1.50 a litre. Profiteering bastards, but what can you do!

Was that the little place in Wolverton? I managed to get some there.
Jesus, is this what an advanced industrial economy has been reduced to?
But in Boris we trust. Ha F- ha.

I see there are filling stations charging as much as £2.60 per litre.

Mmmm, I wonder if petrol retailers are deliberately holding back deliveries in order to extend the 'crisis' to justify charging more at the pumps.

I wouldn't put it past some of them.
