Only people that used to? So you're just pissed off that they don't ask for mates' rates any more?

At the beginning of next month I'll have been an electrician for 45 years. To this very day I can still remember the two pieces of advice I was given on the morning of the 2nd of October 1978 by the first guy I ever worked with.

1: Never discuss how much you earn. It'll only cause arguments with your workmates.
2: Never tell anyone what you do for a living. Because the first thing they'll say is "Oh you're an electrician, that's handy as I have this little job that want's doing", and they'll expect you to do it for next to nothing, or better still nothing at all.

Never truer words spoken.

Now that you mention it, the switch in my garage has broken. I'm on a direct route to SMK from Stony, so before the next home game I wonder if you could just pop by? I'd make you a cup of tea naturally.

Dog walkers who pick up the dogshit in one of those poop bags, tie a knot in it, carry it for a while, then get fed up and throw it into a hedge.

You utter cnuts! You've done the hard bit, feeling the warm, squidgy mess through the thin plastic and avoided getting it on your hand as you turn it inside out and tie it. Now just take it to a poo bin! Throwing it into a bush, where it hangs off a branch for months, while the shit ferments does no one any favours. Better to leave it on the ground where the dog shat it out; at least it'll decompose quicker.

If you do this you are vermin.

That is utterly cunty and I'm not remotely excusing it, just mentioning it whilst it's relevant.

The poo bins in MK, especially the local estates are an absolute shambles. Overfilled and never emptied. I understand it's absurd to suggest emptying them every other day, that's unrealistic but there is a bin not far from my place which was overfilled with the lid open for about 2 weeks. Its not a pleasant job for whoever has to clean it so whoever does, kudos. Braver person than me, but the neglect is worrying.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to carry it home yourselves, you morons.
