The making of Pet Sounds on Beeb 4.

Plus lots of Killing Eve. That's a pretty awesome show, as it goes.

About 6 episodes into Marvel 's Jessica Jones.
I really like it. Dark, well thought out, with some unexpectedly funny bits.
I've got a second season to watch and 2 seasons of Luke Cage.

That's me covered until Xmas! :D

Finished Killing Eve last week. Brilliant, and highly recommended.
Just started the second series of The Handmaids Tale. I've been putting this off, due to the unremitting horror of the first series. Happy to say that two episodes in its all sunny days, and sparkling, witty repartee :?

Little Drummer Girl

Really not sure what to make of it. It looks great - it captures the late seventies vibe. But it's sloooooow and I'm still not convinced that a) the main woman would actually help the Israeli intelligence b) that the convoluted plot would actually work.

I want to like it and want to stick with it but I'm losing interest...

Truthfully, I gave priority to the Snooker final. :oops:
And it was a great session, as expected. 4-4 going into the evening session.
But I listened to England and watched after Jesse's equaliser so saw the ending. :D


Shame. You missed a good game.

Inside Europe: 10 Years of Turmoil

Part 2 of 3 just now. Part 1 last week was Brexit. Tonight is the Euro crisis.

It's a really excellent show, with interviews with most of the key players of the time. Frank and insightful. And shocking. And scary.

Democracy is an amusing little puppet show, put on to keep us plebs calm and pliable. :)
