It was in a place called Shaw, which is a district in Oldham near where Bobby Ball comes from. Shaw is "the last place God made and the first he forgot" as my Dad often used to say. Wise man my Dad :-

Stop me if you think that youve heard this one before (i'm 28) nothings changed, I still love the smiths.

Then again my dad is in his 50's and exposed me to them growing up so you might be on to something.
