The death of Stalin - hilarious, disturbing and very clever.

A work of genius I’d say.

Thor Ragnarok.
If you like the Marvel films then this in my opinion is one of, if not the best yet. Hilarious most of the time, top emotional stakes and a villain in the MCU I actually enjoyed watching.

If you like comedies full stop this film is great.

Paddington 2 - rare example of a sequel that way surpasses the original. Laugh out loud stuff, this is charming and inventive - British comedy at its absolute best

'Only the Brave'

Based on the true story of the 'Granite Mountain Hotshots', elite firefighters tackling the Arizonian wildfires. Very good drama and very good performances from a strong cast (including Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges, Miles Teller and Jennifer Connelly). Enjoyed this 7.5/10

I watched '6 Days' last night about the Iranian Embassy siege. I'd never heard of the siege before I saw it on Netflix and I don't know how accurate it actually was, but it uses news clips from the time, including the snooker games from the week in background TV and is dramatic enough to keep me enthralled, I'd recommend it.

Baby Driver

Missed it at the cinema, so just caught it on download. Very good - plays with the heist genre. Very knowing whilst remaining exciting and charming. Great soundtrack too.

'Justice League' - Like pretty much all the films in this genre; it's ok. The Marvel films definitely have the edge over the DC one's.
This one is very average; and frankly just a bet 'meh'! 5/10

Justice League: not bad just very forgettable. If you wanna see it see it. It’ll do a job. If you don’t wanna see it don’t. It won’t surprise you.
