From stalking the Charlton Forum (I know it’s sad) it’s safe to say that they sussed Karl out quicker than we did.

Yes his passion is bang on, but they soon got frustrated with the predictable style of play, 68% possession, zero shots and then a whiney excuse ridden press conference.

How long will he last at Oxford??? I give him til Jan 19.

He’s a nice guy though I guess so sort of hope I’m wrong.

We were more patient than Charlton fans were due to the fact that we liked the guy, he got the club, and we were stable and seeing longevity for once. Also being that he was young and up and coming and generally wasn’t bad for the age he was at and the club he always managing. I seriously don’t understand some people’s gripes with him.

Yes fair enough but far more good than bad. Not many managers last six years at one club.

I think it's more likely that he sussed Charlton & the new owners out, while he did the work on the new Oxford owners.
