Robbo gone - expected to get Oxford job this afternoon

7 points above us - would be quite nice to finish above them - CAFC fans all tweeting if you want 100% possession but no end threat mmmmm it just goes to show it wasn't just us then

Do feel for him tho nobody will ever succeed at Charlton with current owners

I honestly can't see why the Oxford board would go for him

One could say that the promotion was with a one-off wonder side, and the two play-offs were when he had Gorman guiding him and it wasn’t one up front and all about possession.

So his successes are down to someone else (or just pure good luck) and his failures are down to him?

His track record in L1 is good, however you look at it. He could probably take his pick of clubs in our division.

It's official

https://www.oufc.co.uk/news/2018/march/ ... son-joins/

Now where have I heard the following before

"“I have seen the plans for the new training ground, heard where the club sees itself going, and I have seen what a talented squad we already have here."

Great appointment for them. Can’t wait until he rejoins us in the future.

I’m a bit suprised he went there, but I can see him doing a good job with Oxford, he’s going to have a decent budget to work with as well.
