I’m always a bit sceptical about players returning to their former clubs (think Renaldo), but very pleased to see him bag a brace today. :)

I’ve always hoped Grigg would come back and sentimental old sod that I am, his is the first signing that just made me smile when I saw it had happened. And… When was the last time we had three proper strikers that were actually ours?

And who can blame him? :D :D :D

Yeah, I had my doubts about Grigg, his last stint here wasn’t exactly inspiring, but give the man credit he’s banging them in again, so I’m not complaining

Classic Grigg today. Not many poachers better than him in the EFL, as he said in his interview these types of goals are his trademark.

Seems to be most potent on these smaller pitches, whereas Eisa seems stronger on larger pitches with more space to run and get behind. Dennis so far seems closer to Eisa's style. Another striker who offers something different (perhaps good in the air?) would be nice.

Loved his interview. He seems really happy to be back. If we can create the chances he will score us 15+ goals this season. Keeping him fit will be key.

Think the club's tweet about him being 7th highest goalscorer for the club with Chuks is wrong.

Needs 1 more to become joint-7th highest goalscorer for the club with Chuks and Ben Reeves. Grigg is on 32, they're both on 33.

Thoughts on how he is currently getting on?

Happy to be wrong about his current ability level! He scores goals in this team, its imperitive we keep him fit and look after him! Its rare a player scores 2 first half goals but he manager to put the game to bed before his planned substitution second half. His character and ability to score gosls has never been in question we just need a version of him that starts often and isnt a bit part player in and out with injury.
