Having left for Burnley in the summer, Twine made his debut off the bench in their opening day win at Huddersfield. He was inches from a goal scoring debut as he hit the post with a free kick, which David Kasumu gave away. He looked a little uncomfortable playing in a more traditional wide left position that evening.

Since then Twine has yet to make an appearance due to an injury. Kompany hinted he'd miss a couple of games and the injury was original described as a 'knock'

Still yet to feature since his debut

Vincent Kompany - 'We will remain patient and work with him to help him show the talent he has got. The fans are going to love him and we need to make sure he gets delivered in the right way. He is working himself back to fitness and I think I will stop putting a date on it but I believe he will be back soon hopefully.”'

Twine is still out! Gutted for the lad, was really looking forward to seeing him tear it up in the championship.

Great free kick. Hopefully this kick starts his Burnley career now after a horrible time with injuries. Burnley 19 points clear of 3rd, so will difficult to break into a team performing so well at the top though.

Came on here to post about this. Genius at work tonight. So glad he's still got it given he's not had much game time this season.
