Not just a Dons departure, but also a Swansea departure now. He has left for personal reasons.

I wonder how this will impact Russ' role, his coaching and tactics going forward. For a while a lot of us on here thought Sweeting was the transfer guru, Williams the good coach and Russ was more of the face of the system, good with the media and players.

For the record I hope that both himself and his family are ok, and the personal reasons are nothing too serious.

Be interesting to see what happens at Swansea now. Remember what happened to Ince when Ray Mathias and him split. One can only hope!

Wouldn't be surprised to see him back here one day in the future.

Great appointment for Notts County, he'll take them up. If he gets them playing "his" way then it could be a great place to send a couple of our fringe players on loan, maybe Lewis Johnson is ready to step up to that level.
