Got pulled off before half time last night.
He's seemingly gone from the hard working goal scorer that we saw here to a lazy striker that the manager has to come out and slate in his post match interview.
2 years left on his contract, and I'm fully expecting us to be in for him in the summer as we were with Healey.
They’ll at least want their money back, we won’t be getting Watters
It really depends how the management feel about him. If last night is the breaking point for Max and I wouldn’t blame him if it was, both parties might simply just be happy to cut their losses.
We’ve also paid fortunes to release strikers out of their contracts before (Hello Osman Sow) and I’d be happy to do the exact same again with a striker we actually know the quality of.
