How has he not managed a L1 loan. I know people often say "he's far too good for that league" but it really does apply here, he shouldn't be playing in L2.

Think he's from Colchester, or least he commuted from there when he was at MK.

Stevenage isn't a million miles away, so may just suit his personal circumstances better than the League 1 options he had.

He was nailed on to go to Lincoln a week or so ago and was linked with Pompey.

No way Gilbey was great for us! Mainly because he actually looked like he cared. Always worked his nuts off and covered every blade of grass. Scored a few cracking goals for us aswell.
