I can only assume that the previous thread detailing Samir's glide down the football pyramid disappeared during the event that must not be mentioned.
After leaving MK Dons in 2017 for table-topping Sheffield Utd, Samir had an injury plagued 18 months before joining Oxford on a season long loan - promptly picking up a serious knee injury that restricted him to 10 games before leaving for Cambridge United. Injuries again restricted his appearances and he was released at the end of the 19/20 campaign. Dropping down to the Conference South with Hemel Hempstead, he again played in about 50% of their games due to injuries.
In March 2022, ambitious Dartford FC signed Samir on loan as part of their push to move from 3rd place in the Conference South into the auto promotion places.
