Wait, what? Nigel Clough is managing Mansfield?! When did that happen?!

Nice, we get a punnet of tangerines as our cut of the sell on. Life is good.

Do tangerines come in punnets?

They do now.

Massive interview in today's Guardian. Gives his side of the crash, and how it affected his mental health. We get a brief couple of mentions, but 8ts not about his football career, rather the impact of being abandoned, quite literally in some cases, by his friends and team mates.

I'm guessing that it's online if you're interested.

A bit like when he dumped us. However he did us a favour as we got Harry Daring as a replacement.

I feel no ill will to him. He was here at a transitional time, added some useful experience and did a reasonable job in an unfamiliar position. And, as you say, we traded up with Harry.

I guess his playing career is just about over. Good luck to him for whatever he does next.

(I'm feeling very mellow today 8-) )

I wasn't particularly keen on him when he was here, and his departure certainly left an incredibly sour taste, but mental health is no laughing matter.
I think the fact that there's a link to the Samaritans at the bottom of the piece speaks volumes.
