I notice that Barnsley have crept into the Championship play-off spots with Brittain a mainstay at right wing-back.

I felt like things went slightly stale for him at the Dons and I thought a move would give him a second wind... but I didn't think it would go this well!

Starts tonight. Unfortunately finds his team one down to Swansea at half time.

Just had a one on one with the keeper saved.

They've also brought Morris on at half time, but I can't find a thread for him.

I spent a few hours on one of the Barnsley forums yesterday (piss poor format - a nightmare to navigate). He's been a big hit this year. In summary, most have him as third choice for player of the season.

Good luck to him. A fantastic breakthrough but his last season with us was less impressive (him? The way we played? The management? A bit of everything?). Many players go through that (look at Dele!!!). However, the move has been great for him. Best wishes to him and I hope he gets to play in the Prem.

I watched the game last night and Barnsley are one of the most direct teams I've ever seen. Fun to watch, but they absolutely love a ball into the channels. To go from Russell Martin's possession fetishists to that is quite the change, but he seems to have made a pretty seamless transition. Should have scored a rebound, mind.

I was shocked that in modern-day football they were so 100% direct and full-on. It was a great watch. Football can be played in many manners, doesn't mean there's a "right" way...

Both him and Morris start tonight in the second leg of the Championship playoff against Swansea.

Finds his team one nil down again. Partly to blame for The Swans goal.
