Gregory ex AFC played with Martin and Williams today. Both ex MK Dons. I wonder what they talk about?

And this is where the “I always said he was over rated” threads start.

I wouldn't say he was overrated, but high balls into the box was always his weakness, so it was no surprise to see him flap at one like that

The poor guy. Hope he can shake that off and not let it cloud the rest of his career.

Saved a Patrick Bamford penalty yesterday. They still lost to Leeds though.

Seems to have done so. He’s played the two subsequent league games despite that howler in the FA Cup. They won 2-0 yesterday and apparently he played well.

I'm glad to hear that.

He’s played every game since the cock up. According to the reports he’s been excellent.

Looks like he’s going to sign for West Ham.

I’m quite surprised about that. He played every game for Millwall after the FA Cup cock up and played very well. They offered him a new contract and most likely would have been first choice this season. I can’t see him playing many games at West Ham.

It's a realistic shot at Premier League football for the first time in his career (yes I know he was at Liverpool, but he was never realistically going to get a first team game there). He'll get a decent pay rise too. Worst case scenario, he leaves after a year or so and can then drop down to the Championship again where I'm sure a few clubs will still be interested.

If he stays at Millwall, he's probably going to stay in the Championship or drop down to L1 in the next season or two (Millwall will be one of the weaker teams against next season). A few mistakes and he's back to sitting on the bench again.

I think he should go for it.
