Maybe that slice of the action pay cheque might not be too far away now?

With transfer feed going the way they are, I wouldn’t be surprised if Dele goes for £120m+. If that’s an 18% sell on as rumoured, we could get £21m+.

Hopefully some of that will go towards erasing any debt, and a good chunk reserved for Championship promotion funds.

Or he could just be angling for a new contract with Spurs at a higher rate - nothing for MK Dons there.

Another potential outcome of this though could be that both "super" agents are angling for a way into Spurs, Levy is notoriously difficult to negotiate and deal with, these two agents like to be almost integrated into the set ups with the top clubs, if they get in with Dele then that might help them get closer to other players and greater wage negotiations etc at Spurs.

Hopefully they'll sell him, but the above is just an possible alternate.

Yep, but there’s a lot of reports saying those two agents don’t get involved with players just to negotiate a pay hike. They’ll be looking to secure a massive deal. I think a lot hinges on Dele’s performance at the next World Cup. An outstanding individual performance there and we could be into world record territory. A typical lacklustre England performance getting beat in the quarter finals and the interest will almost certainly cool.

About time he put in a performance like this this season. Been nothing but a glorified Robbie Savage all campaign.

A dip was bound to come at some point and he has only played badly compared to two seasons in which he was young player of the year so maybe not too much for anyone to moan about!
