No offence to either Lowe or absolute Ladybit McInnes, but it that seriously the best Rangers can come up with. Fucking disgrace.

Considering Rangers largely sign average Championship/past it Premier League players now the guarantee of Champions League football in the early 2000's is gone, surely an average Championship manager is about their level?

Not a bad shout. He knows the Scotch game, indeed he got a Scotch team into Europe, and he's very highly thought of at his last Scotch team.

I know. Makes you wonder why Lampard has already been interviewed. But I guess as he was Derby manager in the aforementioned Championship he fits the bill perfectly.

Frankie's your boy. He'll have you losing to half the Scotch teams in no time.

And he did his best to relegate both Chelsea and Everton to the Championship as well...

Do you have any managers in mind that may interest/excite you as a Rangers fan?

Whilst my comment was a bit to wind you up, but the reality is a lot of the recruitment is roughly Championship level. Also let's not forget Celtic signed O'Riley from League One and put him straight in their XI and they are way ahead of Rangers right now. So if the players are typically Championship level (Dowell, Cantell, Balogun, Matondo, Lawrence, Lundstram, Bacuna) why is hiring a manager from a similar level 'a fucking disgrace'?

If you think MK are bad, Rangers are in freefall right now. The summer signings have failed massively (remind you of anything?). The majority of supporters I know of both the big two are still of the belief that it's the 90's and they can attract massive players, and big name managers. Obviously they can't. Scottish football is as bad as I can remember it to be honest. In fact it's worse than ever. I really only watch Rangers, and whomever they're playing obviously, but the standard is dreadful. As for a manager, take your pick. The Daily Record are reporting that Lampard was interviewed. Whether they've turned him down, or more likely viceversa, who knows. Today's favourite is Pascal Jansen, who's currently at A.Z. Why on earth he'd leave that gig for the 'hothouse' that is the SPFL I've no idea.

We don't need him for that. Managing very well on that front thank you very much.

Neil Lennon is available and knows the SPL. Perhaps he might be considered.
