I would only rest Max and Alex. Otherwise MW should play his strongest team, although a lot of subs after 60 minutes.

Given that Sutton are still in with a shout (albeit unlikely), we have to respect the league and Colchester by putting out our best team.

Why? Nobody would do the same for us.

Especially if one or more get injured if sutton play it rough. MW has already said we have to take account of the physical condition and both deserve a rest.

Really think it'll be as straightforward as the players who were rested last week will get some minutes and the players who played will get a rest. Expect the like of Bate, Payne and Harvie to get some minutes, whilse O'hora, Dean, Gilbey, Lofthouse etc get a rest.

This. Chill people it’ll be fine.

No we don't!! Fuck this awful league and the awful teams in it!

You might not (and to be fair you have a point) but the club have still got to show integrity.

I can imagine AFC putting a team of their academy lads out if we were in Sutton's position, and AFC were playing Colchester.

Burton handled us and Cambridge exactly right last year.

Albeit nothing to play for but we've gotta go out and win, if we don't it won't be the end of the world though

If that happens, the reaction on here from some will imply Armageddon is preferable.... :ugeek:

But, bottom line(s) as has been said already:
We are going into the playoffs as 4th.
We must try to avoid injuries at all costs
Give game time to those who need it wherever possible.

IMHO those are far more important than a scintillating last home game of football which takes unnecessary risks for the next two/three games. MW surely knows this.

Likely that AG will want to play some part, as being former Colchester player and from Essex. May wish to do his bit.

My knob is feeling strangled by the weight of joke expectation. Seriously, he's choking and can hardly breathe.

May be when we seal promotion, three cheers for my c*ck and balls would be a much needed tonic.
