That's weird because I remember him as being bang average and nobody missed him when he left.
We only didn’t miss him because we signed Harry Darling, who was younger and better.
Keogh was good for us and rarely had a bad game. Most were very unhappy when he left due to timing and that we were losing probably our most important defender at the time.
Thankfully we replaced him very well.
I just can't agree with this. I remember during the first half of 2021 season doing a bit of an analysis of the goals we conceded. There was often meltdowns due to mistakes as we were learning Russ-ball but in reality we were conceding more goals from awful defending, particularly Keogh losing his man, not bothering to head the ball or from punting it forward/out of play. Unfortunately for me that post was lost when we lost all that data on here a few years back. But it did happen and I may one day if I'm bored watch the goals again.
