Have we had a worse keeper?

We havent had a worst 1st choice gk whichever one starts. Id argue wieger sietsma rivals them for worst, ian mcloughlin quickly dissapeared out of the game snd that american keeper! Weve had some shitters. But this is by far the shittest collective gk union weve had.

American guy? That was Cody Cropper. Met him (NOT in the grocers on Heelands ;) ;) ;) ) and he was a decent chap and seemed to want to succeed here.
HITHERTO the worse was Calamity Baines BUT he saved lots of penalties IIRC and there wasn't anything like the determination not to pass back to him (yeah yeah, I know we played a different system then - plus as an aside he came back for that anniversary parade years ago but I digress...) FM is a busted flush who the rest don't trust. Ergo he must never play again for us.

As soon as we went 3-2 up, I was screaming for Lewie to be brought on. We were dropping deeper and deeper and you could see an equaliser was coming. Should have brought Wearne off. Think he was OK at wing-back 2nd half when we were chasing the game, but he's not a defender, so not the kind of player you want to be relying on when seeing out a game. Not saying we would have definitely held on, but we'd have had a far better chance with the experience and leadership of Lewie out there.

Regretting not going a bit

Looked like fun in that away end....sunny and lots of drama at least

Anyone know if the extra 170 tickets all get sold?

Nope. 1,168 in attendance and 1,049 sold before that. So 119 bought on the day. 51 stayed at home.
