Newport were terrible and we were brilliant.

Some of the football was outstanding. Effortlessly breaking the press. Payne and Bate genuinely wouldn’t be amiss in the Championship.

Must have been a pretty horrific watch for the Newport fans.

I totally agree. After a (sort of) brisk start to the second half - that gave them their single shot on goal all game IIRC - they looked to have given up. Their keeper had no urgency about him at all. Lovely to watch. Most enjoyable game for ages for me.

As for their lot.... Well doubtless the usual VFTOS will be produced by someone more skilled/sober than me but I can't make out how to use (find anything) their website. The bit I can see for their MOM has a grand total of TWO votes on it.

That performance today was literally out of this league, it looked like a top six league 1 team taking the mickey out of lower league opponents, 6 - 0 wouldn’t have been unreasonable
