Very solid ref.

Didn’t see the dean pen claim properly so hard to tell. Ref let game flow; Payne was rightly booked. Decent ref performance .

He failed to deal with players leaving their foot in and catching people after the ball was gone which became almost a free hit, I also think that was what happened with the penalty shout Max got his foot to the ball first and was then caught but as Max wasn't getting the ball he was interested, strange way to interpret the rules.

Thought he was really poor. Let obvious pushes and shirt pulls go all afternoon, so they kept doing it. Inconsistent

Certainly agree with the remarks about grappling and shirt pulling.
