Mass turnover of players, loads of uninspiring signings, a manager who ping-ponged from one club on the financial knife-edge to another, lowest away support in the league, no academy and puzzling, to say the least, owners. Yet despite the closeness of the score-line, they've already torn us a newy. Hopefully the lads will turn up and show us what they're made of. COYD!!!

I think this could be a tricky game. I suspect they are going to be considerably better than FGR (OK, not difficult) and rather more of a handful than Colchester in terms of attack.

I am feeling confident (not always a good sign) I expect a couple of changes for freshness but largely the settled team Mike seems to have bedded in.

I expect 2 changes - Smith for Lewington and Grant for Robson. I saw harvie with a massive plastic boot on before the Colchester game which would suggest a serious injury so I don’t think we will see him for a good while.

Crawley are a decent side and will come at us unlike FGR and Colchester. High scoring game ahead which we should just sneak

Lewington will get a guard of honour from both teams prior to kick off and will receive an official award from the EFL for his 771 appearances. A really nice touch
