Good 1st half. Don’t know how Grant missed his chance. Shame he did as he has been playing very well in my opinion.

Thought that was a poor game against absolutely hopeless opposition.

The FGR team were abysmal; they had no fight or tactics whatsoever- their manager will be out after that.

I thought we were average today. The goalie could have taken the day off, the defence were all ok, Payne and Dean were once more our best players. I thought Gilbey and harvie had real off days, devoy, grant and Robson were all pretty poor.

Good 3 points but not a great performance.

I bet on 2-0 (and 3-0) so was rather pleased.
I never thought we'd lose (or even draw).
I can't recall the last time I felt like that at SMK! :D

Yeah agreed, although I thought Devoy did well when he came on.

Probably Gilbey’s most ineffective game for us so far.

Was surprised to see Dennis come on, genuinely don’t think he’s even National League level. Suspect Eisa and Harrison were kept on the bench due to their performance against Brighton’s youth.

Surprisingly cold for a supposedly mild day, we did enough to win fairly comfortably, FGR posed little threat going forward and we just trundled through the game without ever hitting top gear.

My MOM was Jack Payne, another great performance, he really has become a key player in this team and I would love to sign him on a permanent if possible, the nutmeg on Troy Deeley was sublime, even he saw the funny side of that, but Paynes link up play, his desire to drive the team on and have a crack at goal makes him stand out, compared to Gilbey today that was like night and day.

Our Max keeps adding a few quid to his value every game, another cracking finish from him today.

So just a couple of points off the play offs, with games in hand, it’s certainly looking much better than a few weeks ago
:D

Not a thriller, but another important win and we've moved within 2 points of the playoffs, with games in hand. Last time we were in League Two there were lots of very forgettable 2-0 home victories. We've not had many games like that this season, so it's nice to have a pretty comfortable afternoon.

Williamson is building something and we're progressing all the time. We just need to continue to pick up the points to stay in the hunt. The next month or so could be crucial in our season.
