Very impressed with Waller tonight in a youthful setup.

Wasn’t going to go tonight, but decided to and glad I did, some really good performances from the youngsters, with Waller being the outstanding player, very assured at the back, good tackling, good in the air and decent distribution of the ball and gets a goal!

Finishing top guarantees us a home tie in the first knock out stage

Really pleased I went in the end. Thank god Northampton scored though, because that game really needed a goal and once we got one, it turned into a pretty entertaining game.

Youth player wise, as others have said, Waller was the standout. Solid defensively and very composed on the ball. He's still a tad lightweight for a CB but that'll change as he develops.

I was also really impressed with our number 40, Rian Silver when he came on. Looked really class on the ball. The lad who looked like Kasumu in midfield, also played like him too and really came into the game as it went on. Hopefully he can be as good as Kasumu but without the injuries.

Anker looked the most composed early on, but to be expected as he's been around the 1st team squad for a while.

Got to say, if tonight is anything to go by, then its exciting times for our academy.

Fantastic strike by devoy to win it , and another really good result.

Increasingly things really looking up. I just have a really good feeling about this manager, he isn’t like a normal manager. There is something about the guy, this could be sweetings best ever move.

That’s a £5,000 fine for us then surely

What for? Not the line up as...

‘Full Available Strength’ means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet.

7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season);

So that covers Stewart, Lewington, Devoy and Dennis

That was said before realising that apparently national league and league of Ireland starts counted. Not that they should, but if it saves £5,000 then so be it.
