Some half time observations:
- We are moving the ball far quicker than we did under GA and it’s causing Bradford problems. We are getting it forward quickly and have been happy to try it long. So far it’s more like Manning’s season one style than Russball.
- Payne and Robson are playing as a double pivot and staying quite close together. Gilbey is playing further forward and it looks like he suits this role (only one half so caveat that) as his energy and physicality is causing their sitting midfielders problems.
-Norman and Tomlinson both hugging their touch lines and pushing high. Tomlinson cutting in more.
-Payne’s free kick was sublime. Look it up if you can.
-O’Hora made a mistake and then a poor lunge for their goal. Despite this he has been quite good in the air. Tucker has not put a foot wrong and some of his progressive passes have been good.
-Our press has been better than anything we have seen this season. Everyone to a man working hard. Wonder how long they can keep the intensity up.
-Cowshed sounds loud in Ifollow. Good work everyone.
Second half thoughts
-we turned up in both halves and were on the front foot all game. Bradford couldn’t cope.
-If this is how we will play under MW we will see blow this league apart.
