Going to take a bit of time adapting to the new style, but it’s promising

Its arguably the best we’ve played for a while, but we’re still losing.

There are promising signs though and it’s very early days. You can see it’s a very different style of play already.

First time in a long time that I can say I don’t think we deserve to be behind.

We’ve played some nice football and created chances for Eisa, that he’s missed.

I actually enjoyed dome of that 1st half. We need to maintain more possession in the opposition half and try and build more sustained attacks. Our defenders have seen alot of the possession. Eisa has been unlucky with a couple of beautiful runs snd touches of class but not involved enough in the wider link play. Hopefully a reassuring team talk at half time and some confidence and instruction we can come out and build on a promising first half. Alot to improve on but the warly signs are we are trying to move in a new direction.

We need to bin off the players left over from last year. Clearly they're mentality is not good enough. They're the only constant. Something is not right in that dressing room.

ps was anyone actually expecting us to win today?

Disappointing 2nd half. Only 58% possession.

It's a tricky one as none of the players that came in during the summer have made much of an impact either.

What's clear now is the players that weren't good enough for L1 aren't even good enough for L2.

Just not sure where we go from here? It seems to only be getting worse
