I don’t really see how he can have changed the style much in just a few days, but I will be fascinated to see who he picks. Perhaps pick all the ball players? I just hope we don’t concede another stupid goal early on. (or ever)
Hopefully they will keep the ball on the ground a bit more. I expect he will use a lot of substitutes, to get a look at as players many as possible.

Wonder if he'll pick himself to play in defence? :)

Interesting to see if Devoy, Eisa, O'Hora, Tucker and Leko start. Would imagine Dean retains his place. Harvie should be available again. Might see Grant on the bench, doubt if he's match sharp. May be Burns finds his way onto the bench in the coming matches.

Accrington a very difficult place to go and play football as they are a physical side. I don’t think we can take too much away from tomorrow’s game but obviously I hope we grind out a win. Plus we’ve got a new manager bounce…

Good luck on the open terrace tomorrow and hope the weather stays reasonable!

Agree.

If he goes with the same formation he used this season at Gateshead (roughly a 3-4-2-1 in possession and a back 5 when defending) I think we might see something like this as the starting team.

macgillivray
O'Hora, Tucker, Harvie
Norman, Gilbey, Williams, Tomlinson
Payne, Dean
Eisa

That being said I've seen quite a few comments about him being an excellent man manager so we might see some of the players who have been frozen out thrown straight into the starting 11 in an effort to build up their confidence and get them back into the fold. Grant and Devoy are two players I expect to really kick on under Williamson. I think they style of football suits them both.

Its hard to call though. At the start of his Gateshead tenure Williamson had them emulating Klopps Gegenpress style in a 4-3-3 with a high press! A man with many tricks in his locker.

Devoy's ability on the ball surely puts him high up on the list of midfielders for MW?

I'd like to see the following tomorrow -

-----------McGillivary------------
-----Tucker-Stewart-Harvie------
Norman-Devoy-Gilbey-Tomlinson
-----------Payne-Leko------------
---------------Eisa----------------

This is assuming that Lewington is still injured.

Wouldn't be disappointed to see any of Dean, Grant or Smith play.

I've openly not been a fan of Stewart prior to his return, but I just cannot play O'Hora at the moment and I don't really have much faith in him improving under MW, hopefully I'm wrong.
