Didn’t actually see much different today from what has been the case against Tranmere, Crawley, Colchester and Doncaster - except that this time the other team showed some decent passing football and tore us a new one for the last hour of the match.

We started really well, kept the ball on the deck, passed through the midfield and got the goal. As soon as we had done so, we changed to hoofball. Bizarre!

Interesting to look at the graphics of the game. I have taken a heatmap of our midfield vs Crewe and they are way too much over our right to defend Crewe's right.

Similarly looking at players positions (unfortunately I can only give the 1st 11). We look exposed on the inside right, especially by their No 11.

So unsurprising that most of their shots came from the right

Looking like a real scorcher next week. Indian summer right enough.

So this boils down to the fact that "we were sh*te again" yeah?

Look at how far up the pitch Harvie was playing, that is ridiculous if he isn't getting the cover from a CDM or CB.

The trouble is Smith did cover, but left a gaping hole on his inside. The team isn't balanced.

Yeah, Smith appears to be way too far over there. I'm not analyst, but shouldn't it also be Robson's job to cover/help Harvie?

I don't think Harvie, Robson or Smith are getting their roles correct. Whereas we look marginally strong on our right with Norman, Gilbey and O'Hora
