We need to absolutely hammer them for the first hour. I want to see panic on their faces from minute 1.
Their squad is better than their league position, so we need to put them to the sword and remind them that they suck. Kill that confidence immediately.

Can't get the feeling we're down to bare bones though with injury plaguing the squad lately to the point that Isgrove, Sheehan and Thomason are now the bench guys with question marks over how well their injuries need to be managed.

Happy with the line up. Hopefully the standards won't drop too much as its 2 games in 4 days as it stands for this lot.

Tbf at this rate if we concede three the defenders will score another six themselves so all good.

MKD really trying hard towards the end of that half.

Some daft errors but players mopping up for each other.

MK Dons have looked fairly decent attack wise. Plenty of trickery, pace and look threatening in groups. Surprised they've only scored 28 goals so far this season based on this performance.

Not only winning games, but doing it against decent sides and keeping clean sheets in the bargain. Delightful stuff...

A ten goal swing on our goal difference too. That could prove to be very important as we get towards the business end of the season.

We missed out on Tucker in the summer and had to make do with Eoin Toal! Another flawless performance from him tonight and a 3rd(?) goal already.

Life is darned good right now

MK Dons came and opened the game up, aren't very good, can't defend set plays and more or less offered us a gimme. But they were good going forwards and we coped with it - they had power and pace on the counter but for the most part we looked really solid.

a pleasure to watch over the candlelit curry at Casa Barnet. Even Mrs B was somewhat impressed: “Haven’t you spent years being shit?”

Wonderfully efficient performance and could have been more had it not been for the keeper making 2/3 exceptional saves - Let's not worry about how dreadful they were off the ball - Our intensity, pressing, decision making, desire and deliveries into the area were fantastic and we're finding a ruthless streak now, which is great!

I thought we pressed superbly and it's great that we're suddenly a threat on set pieces but I think we've played better and been more creative going forwards than we were last night.

They possess a threat up top that hopefully will nick points off some of our competitors.

That result was made all the better by the fact that MK Dons clearly have some really talented lads. They've 5 we've had interest in and who would all have done well under Evatt, but we made it look very easy generally. Paris Maghoma, the Brentford lad, clearly has loads of ability. Jack Tucker, in a woefully-organised defence, also looked like exactly the kind of defender who would thrive here with us. Our lot were given the platform to perform and they were fighting the tide.

He looks absolutely dreadful and has all season and that was absolutely a bullet dodged. To pretend otherwise is laughable.

When you put a defender in a bad set up fans tend to see a bad defender. Tucker and Maghoma in midfield stood out as good players. Physically, technically and in terms of their general play, both will fit into better sides very easily.

If MK Dons survive this season they'll probably be a much better team next term. If they get relegated then plenty of that team will find new homes in better sides and thrive.

It only takes a Mo Eissa early flukey shot that goes in off the back of Rico and they shut up shop like all other small teams seem to do to get the points!!!

It has to be all about how we set up

The points and the win are not a given, we have to earn them

That said, I’d be surprised if we don’t go in at half time 2 goals to the good

For 60 mins we were no more attacking than MKD and indeed had to be very sharp and sound in defence on more than one occasion. But if we take chances like that the game is so much more easy to win.
For the final thirty we looked very good indeed Toal's goal came after three consecutive magnificent saves two from close range headers. How demoralised was the keeper at the end of the sequence. Indeed MKD all looked demoralised. At least they came to play.

We were head and shoulders above them tonight. Hard to believe they were so good last season.

Best thing about them would be the keeper on loan from Chelsea who may be working keeping tabs on for when Traff goes back.

Actually I thought MK looked a pretty decent team, they’re certainly good going forward and at least they came to play rather than shut up shop or practise the dark arts.

It was a strange one really because attack-wise MK were quite good and caused us problems. Trafford made 2 great saves and Toal blocked a header on the line. Their “offside” goal was debatable too. But never mind – yet another clean sheet.

We looked likely to score each time we attacked. Their keeper made a number of very good saves.

Like you I thought MK were very decent going forward and we were fortunate on a few occasions not to concede.
