... due to festive ‘duties’. Without resorting to hyperbole, how bad was it?

I went to winter wonderland instead because I just knew we'd lose. I hate to be proved right.

Put it this way, I'd rather have spent the afternoon watching The Godfather part 3.

It was a match that showed why both teams are near the bottom. Few chances from either team making a rather boring afternoon.

The difference was that Plymouth were trying and clearly thought they could win.

We were an incoherent mess, lacking leadership, not even showing basic footballing skills and with a few exceptions you got the feeling that they didn't want to be there.

Oh and the team selection and positioning made absolutely no sense (it got the first booing before the match had even started!)

Nothing like Scunthorpe away, that's for sure...

It was not dissimilar to some of the games during the Ince part 2 & Robinson death throes.

You missed nothing. Other than one of their players almost scoring a howler of an own goal.

1. Neilson clearly got the team selection and position list out of a Christmas cracker

2. There were tantalising flashes of skill from us

3. But, generally, we couldn't do the basic things right

4. PAFC were piss poor and were fearing we'd smash them... but you could sense they quickly worked out we were not up for a fight. A slightly better team would have beaten us 3 or 4 nil

5. Overall, amongst the worst home performances in the last 2 years

Tragically tragic.

Got the feeling the current project is nearing it's death
